Our Mission

The Florida First Resilience and Energy Alliance is a coalition of Floridians which, guided by the principles of conservatism and limited government, aims to address the energy and environmental challenges of today. We believe the best way to accomplish this is through market-based solutions, private-sector leadership, and technological innovation.

Central to our effort is the mindset of putting Florida first. We must be unapologetic about advocating for solutions that will best protect the Floridian people and safeguard our state's economy, unique natural heritage, and quality of life.

We know that environmental stewardship can be done without compromising economic growth, and that a key component to addressing the climate challenge is holding foreign polluters accountable. Without leadership, Florida's economic health will continue to be put at risk — for that reason, we commit ourselves to acting boldly today.

FFREA is a growing coalition of Florida's elected officials, party leaders, and young conservatives united around one idea: protecting Florida's environment and powering its economy go hand in hand.

The Legacy
"The Republican Party has been unbelievably active in conservation. People don't necessarily associate us with that, but I think they probably will have to start. At some point, they'll have to start thinking about the Republican Party and all of the incredible things we've done on conservation and many other fronts."
Donald J. Trump 45th & 47th President of the United States
